Pro-Kit’s Journey

Pro-Kit is a proud Australian family business that was establish by Stephen Zaarour in 1984 and as time progressed, so did the company.

Based in Sydney, Steve began as a one man van based operation, supplying suspension, brake & other fast moving popular car parts, as well as fuel, oil and radiator caps to service stations and workshops throughout Sydney.

After establishing himself in the industry, Steve saw a gap in the marketplace where automotive caps were poorly presented to retail customer and it was difficult for both sellers & buyers to find the correct cap. He saw opportunity and developed a merchandising programme promoting these ranges in an orderly way that would appeal to his customer base and particularly to Automotive Parts & Accessories retailers as well.

This was an innovation for the time and opened other opportunities to help grow the business & changed his focus from trade based sales towards being a wholesaler to re-sellers.

So, from Steve’s & Pro-Kit’s humble beginnings as a van supplier to the trade, the company has grown into a large warehouse based operation employing over 25 Customer Service, Administration, Marketing, Management & Sales staff, which offers a diverse range of over 3000 line items to the Automotive Industry throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.

AND we will continue to grow.

PRO-KIT PRODUCT WARRANTIES & DETAILS

Pro-Kit stands by all of the products that we sell & offer a minimum of 12 months warranty as outlined under Australian Consumer Law.

In addition to the standard warranty, selected PKTOOL range products are offered with a Lifetime Warranty* on manufacturing or factory faults.

If an issue arrises with any PRO-KIT supplied product, simply return it to the store you bought it from with proof of purchace. The retailer will then asses the nature of the failure & determine if the issue is a factory fault & is covered under warranty. The retailer will then facilitate the best way to address the issue. Product issues that are determined to be a manufacturing or factory fault include the following remedies – Repair, Replacement, Refund or other remedies that are available to the customer, as defined under Australian Consumer Law.

PKTOOL LIFETIME WARRANTY* CONDITIONS

What does Lifetime Warranty* mean?
PKTool Lifetime Warranty* is a protection against manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the product.

*excluding the below detailed exclusions.

What is Not Covered?

– Normal wear and tear

– Failure due to:

        Misuse, abuse or modification
        Accidental damage
        Improper use
        Failure to use as per instructions supplied
        Salt, hail, or other environmental conditions including natural disasters

– Lifetime Warranty* is limited to those products with a “Lifetime Warranty*” label being printed on the PKTOOL manufactures packaging.

– Lifetime Warranty* does not extend to products that can wear out due to the nature of the product, such as those with –

        Gauges
        Hoses
        Contains Viton or any other rubber/other material type seals or gaskets fitted to them

        Brush bristles & abrasive edges

        Used in conjunction with compressed air or vacuum
        Electronic componentry
        External wiring
        Lights or lasers
        Other styles of products that are not listed here, are not necessarily excluded from this list
*Note: Products that fall into these categories are provided with 12 months warranty as outlined under Australian Consumer Law
